Street Dex Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

These terms cover your use of Street Dex (“the App”), operated by Elevated Systems LLC. By using the App you agree to them. If you do not agree, please stop using the App.

2. What Street Dex Is

Street Dex is a game about spotting cars. You photograph a vehicle, the App attempts to identify it, and identified cars are added to a garage with a rarity score.

Identification is a best effort, not a fact. Vehicle recognition is performed by an AI model and will sometimes be wrong. Specifications shown in the App — power, top speed, original price, production numbers — are reference figures compiled from public sources and may contain errors. Do not rely on any of it for buying, selling, insuring or valuing a vehicle.

3. Using the App Safely

You are responsible for how and where you use Street Dex. In particular, you agree:

• Not to use the App while driving
• Not to trespass, obstruct traffic, or endanger yourself or anyone else to get a photograph. No car is worth it.
• Not to photograph people in a way that intrudes on their privacy
• Not to use the App to harass anyone, or to track a specific person or vehicle

4. Your Account

An anonymous account is created when you first open the App. You may link Sign in with Apple to make your garage recoverable on another device.

If you do not link an account, your garage exists only on that device. Deleting the App or losing the phone will lose it permanently, and we cannot recover it for you — the anonymous credential is what identified it, and it goes with the device.

5. Subscription & Payment

Identifying a car costs Scan Credits. Credits can be bought outright, or supplied weekly by a Street Dex Pass subscription.

Scan Credits (one-time purchases)

• 10 credits: $2.99
• 25 credits: $7.49
• 60 credits: $16.99

Street Dex Pass (auto-renewing)

• Weekly: $2.99 per week
• Monthly: $4.99 per month
• Annual: $34.99 per year

Subscription Terms

• Subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Your Apple ID is charged at confirmation of purchase, and again on each renewal
• You can manage or cancel at any time in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device, or from Settings inside Street Dex
• Cancelling stops future renewals. It does not refund the current period, and the Pass stays active until that period ends
• Scan Credits are a consumable purchase. Once spent they are gone, and they are not refundable or transferable
• Prices are in US dollars and may differ in your local storefront

6. Refunds

All purchases are handled by Apple. Refunds are at Apple's discretion under their terms, and requests go through reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds ourselves.

7. Your Content

Photographs you take remain yours. By sharing a catch to the map, or by attaching a photo to a request for a car to be added, you give us permission to store and use that content for the purpose of running the App — showing the sighting, or identifying and adding the vehicle. Nothing else.

We may remove content that is unlawful, or that a report shows to be abusive.

8. Catalog & Imagery

Catalog photography is licensed from Wikimedia Commons under CC0, public domain, CC BY and CC BY-SA, with attribution shown in the App under Settings → Photo credits. Vehicle names and marques are the trademarks of their owners. Street Dex is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any vehicle manufacturer.

9. Availability

We aim to keep Street Dex running but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Identification depends on a network connection and on third-party services. We may change or discontinue features.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Street Dex is provided “as is” and Elevated Systems LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of it, including any loss caused by a misidentified vehicle or an inaccurate specification. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Ending Your Use

You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Account, which permanently removes your data. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the App after a change means you accept it.
